| final fantasy gil:FFXI Jobs Final Fantasy XI |
|
final fantasy gil:You have to get a job in real life; and they won't let you sit idle in Final Fantasy XI either! Every thing from stats and experience to equipment are connected to the jobs, so to start off with Final Fantasy XI you have to choose a vocation that you want to excel in. The FFXI jobs basically mark out the type of game you want to play, though you don't have to stick to the same job all the time. Getting a FFXI job All you have to do is to go to the Mog House and get the job you want. Changing FFXI jobs can be done the same way. You can switch jobs in Final Fantasy XI anytime you like (though you would be well advised to plan well). Switching FFXI jobs does not negatively affect the characters, as each job has a separate experience point's pool. However, if you die you lose 10% of the points needed to advance to the next level. So if you need 500 points to max a level when you die, you lose 50 points from your point's pool. The FFXI Job That Suits Though getting a job isn't a problem, choosing the right job may well exercise your grey cells. First of all, you have to consider how you enjoy the game the most. If you want to bash a few beasts then you might want to check out the fighters in the jobs section. Or if you would rather play the 'messiah' then the White Mage would be an option. Get the drift? Simply play to enjoy. Secondly, you would do well to take into account your chosen race when you pick out a job role. Being a Galka with Black Magic as your profession won't get you anywhere. Consider the qualities of your race and the requirements of the job. Ideally your job should add points to the qualities of your race that will be used most in you job role. Choose wisely, and excel! FFXI Basic Jobs As a beginner, when your experience points are down the choice of jobs is limited to the basic FFXI jobs pool, you have to make do with these. The variety of fields is interesting, as you go from pure melee to magic, or healing, or even to the life of a bandit! The Basic Jobs on offer are, • FFXI Warrior • FFXI Monk • FFXI Thief • FFXI White Mage • FFXI Red Mage • FFXI Black Mage FFXI Advanced jobs By the time you unlock the advanced Final Fantasy XI jobs you probably have a much better idea as to how you enjoy Final Fantasy best. Understandably, job pool expands and you get much more specialized Final Fantasy XI jobs on offer. The Advanced Jobs are, • FFXI Bard • FFXI Beastmaster • FFXI Summoner • FFXI Dark Knight • FFXI Paladin • FFXI Ranger • FFXI Ninja • FFXI Samurai • FFXI Dragoon FFXI Sub-jobs You can get sub FFXI jobs from the Mog House as well. While the main job is represented as full, the sub job is only represented half of your main job skill, and Sub-jobs don't carry any experience points either. Well thought out sub-jobs can make great contributions to the diversity of your character; especially if you want to play solo, you can't seriously do without a good sub-job. The idea is to get the right combinations going. Though a White Mage is rarely out of demand but when he/she is solo there is some need of defense, and melee skills. So subbing a White Mage with a Warrior or a Paladin job suddenly wouldn't look too bad an idea. The choice is yours!
