FFXI Gil:According to Greek mythology Titans were the elder gods who were ruled by Cronus. Zeus, Cronus' son, overthrew his rule and gave rise to the Olympian era. A large majority of the Titans tried to fight the Olympians but to no avail, so they were banished to the Tartarus. Later on, in the Olympian reign the once invincible Titan gods aided the Olympian gods. In FFXI the godly status of the FFXI Titan has been modified to a legendary giant that carries the load of the world on his shoulders, literally. The FFXI Titan is said to aid the Summoner in moving the earth and shifting rocks by utilizing its enormous strength. How to summon a FFXI Titan avatar To be able to summon the FFXI Titan avatar you have to defeat him in battle first. Having the necessary fame in the area of the quest is crucial. Then when the quest is available you can fight the Titan solo at level 20 or you could take up a party at level 60 to fight Titan Prime. The homework you do before going into the fight is absolutely pivotal. Don'st think of the Avatars as pushovers, you would need to have some helpful rings and food, anything that boosts your stats in the fight. Fighting on the day the Avatar is weak against does well to enhance your chances. Where to find the FFXI Titan To find Titan in FFXI, go to the NPC named Farrol, near the drawbridge in Port Bastok. He should be standing with a Taru, so you are not likely to have any problems spotting him. The NPC will give you a tuningfork. Trading it with him will teleport you to the Cloister for the fight, and the rest will be history!
